About Us
Antonina Campisi
Chief Interior Designer
Antonina Campisi serves as the Chief Interior Designer at AreaTonic, where she brings over three decades of expertise in residential and commercial design. With a portfolio that includes the transformation of more than 400,000 square feet across corporate offices, restaurants, and showrooms in Miami, New York, Madrid, and Florence, her work speaks to her deep commitment to excellence and innovation in design.
Antonina began her career in Venezuela as a window display designer, a role that finely tuned her ability to adapt quickly to the evolving demands of the retail environment. In 1994, she founded Intramuros Galería in Caracas, a gallery that not only provided a platform for emerging artists but also served as a showcase for established ones, thereby enriching her design perspective with a robust artistic sensibility.
Since founding AreaTonic in 2015, Antonina has successfully executed a range of projects from high-stakes corporate endeavors to bespoke residential fittings. Her particular understanding of client aspirations has enabled her to forge lasting relationships, allowing her to guide the evolution of their spaces through various life and business phases.
Antonina maintains a strong professional network of prominent Italian furniture designers, manufacturers, and innovators in lighting, wallpaper furniture and fabric producers across Europe.
Kharla Aranguren
Architect / Project Manager
Graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, with more than 25 years of experience.
Kharla has devoted most of her career to the design and construction of office spaces and commercial agencies for large companies. She has a diploma in Management from IESA (Institute specializing in higher studies in Administration) and a Diploma in Energy Certifications and sustainable architecture from the University of Barcelona - Spain.
Since 2016, Kharla has become the perfect partner for Antonina Campisi, adding not only a wonderful common sense but also precision in design and rigor to all the processes of AreaTonic's projects.
She is passionate about the great challenges and always seeks to maintain the harmony between her designs and the environment.
